Can we take a name off the joint account and change it to a sole account or do we have to close the account? Many Thanks

You can do it. Both have to sign for it to happen.0

makes life easier, so all dd's and so's stay the same. If i send her in to bank with a letter tommorow will this be fine. Do you think handwritten would be a prob?0

Yes it will banks have a proper agreement for you to sign.0

Also if the account has an o/draft facility it could take a little longer as the request will probably go via a lending department to decide if joint holder can keep the facility as a sole account holder, if there is an o/d facility which is not required I would get this removed first.0
