Ford Focus S reg query?
My son has just bought a car - Ford Focus 'S' reg & there isn't a manual book. There is a button in the car, which we aren't sure what it does. How can we find out what it's for? It's between the seats & when on, the light on the dashboard lights up too.
Can anyone tell me how to find out what it's for?
Many thanks

It's not that - it's like an 'O' with 2 lines on the right hand side.0

2 lines as in stones being thrown up off the bottom of the wheel

Traction control, stops wheels from spinning and throwing up stones

Many thanks - problem solved. Thanks for the help.....
Can you use it in winter driving in snow?

You can but it's not the snow thats the problem...its the ice, and traction control is very little help with ice.0

Yes. The traction control is on by default. When you press the button the light comes on to warn the tc is off. To test it find a nice off road gravelled track and put your boot down to see what happens with it on and off.0
