Buying a house

Options
Since I am in a job and still living at home with my parents, I was considering buying a house to let, as an investment for the future, can anyone offer any advice on the matter? Has anyone done it? How sucsessful would it be and how much would I have to have free a month to put towards the house? And how much would I get back?

How much cash have you saved which can be used as a deposit and for legal fees and valuations and stamp duty and arrangement fees
