I need to make a complaint to comet clearance

I am a newbie here. I bought a hotpoint cooker from comet clearance in April. The cooker does not worker properly less flames than its supposed to be, parboled roast potatoes take 2 1/2 hours:mad: . I have been in touch with comet several times and an engineer was suppossed to come yesterday afternoon. He called in the morning asked my cooker model then said its lp gas cant help. Went on to say 1. since it was from clearance they cant help me, 2. engineer who fitter cooker should have picked up on it. In my defense i caled comet and asked if i can use lpg on normal gas they said yes.

Since failed appointment they have passed me from one dept to the other promising to call and never did. Have called them today same thing still waiting for call.

Do i have any rights?

Can you clear something up. Are you using an lpg cas cooker with standard gas or vice-versa?

To use a cooker on lpg instead of natural gas you need to change the jets.
