This is really driving me mad, dog does not wee on decking but it must be soaking it up from the side or its running underneath. Its right near the garden gate and I feel awful when people come to visit. I have tried bleach and plenty of rinsing but was wondering if anyone had any better ideas as I could still smell it after the bleach. Was thinking of disinfectant or jeyes
Any advice welcome
Thankyou

bleach is the worst thing you can put onto wee - vinegar is your friend in this instance0

Jeyes fluid is toxic to dogs, phenol poisoning can occur if they lap it up, or chew or lick wood that has been cleaned with it, or if they get some it on their paws and then lick them clean. I know some people do use it but its important to be aware of the risks.
Personally, I would try biological washing powder or liquid in hot water as the enzymes break down the protein in dog wee.0 -
Thanks very much

Definitely use washing powder, dissolved in a bucket of warm water and then rinsed thoroughly when you've scrubbed or swept the affected areas.
Having recently acquired two rescue dogs, we've had many 'accidents' on the carpets. I have used wash-powder in water every time to scrub the carpets and there is absolutely no smell left afterwards."Your life is what your thoughts make it"
