Nationwide to Halifax

Are payments between these banks always fast payment. Sent £1 last week from Nationwide to Halifax which reached there the day i sent. This week when i sent £5k it has'nt, do i wait the normal 3 days before calling them.

Nationwide's Faster Payment maximum is £1000 per payment, maximum £1000 cumulative payments per day.
