A technical question.

Does anybody have the same problem as I do? I can't open long threads (those with quite a few (hundreds)). Why is that?

What actually happens? You just click the thread title but nothing happens?

What happens if you right click the name and chose open in new window? :think:

I will move this to the techie board as you will probably get more help there, (no disrespect to SS here) if you are on dial up sometimes it takes a while to open big threads.

don't know, try https://www.ccleaner.com, stab in the dark..

is ie set to refresh every page ... tools, internet option, settings, every visit to page?

Yes, that's what exactly happens, nothing. I tried right click, then click on 'open in a new window' and again nothing. Very odd, isn't.

Hi Nearlyrich,

I have already broadband (dial-up was just temporary option 'cos I moved), so it's up and running. Never had this problem before.
I'll follow instruction from another thread and see what happens.

TAG - why dont you try another web browser? We don't always need to bow down the Micros**t mate.
