what do i do? do i keep quiet? i dont wish her no trouble
she has altered dates of birth of kids so it looks like she gets more can she do this and get away with it? and is it wrong? the amount she is saying she gets is minimal eldest 2 are too olde to qualify now for ch ben but she saying there younger so she can still get mortgage amount
what would you do? as she is after a home for my kids so if i say something she may not get the house and i dont want kidsto suffer over her adding just 170 a month more to the form

Oh
(I never tell my ex 'private' stuff!) We do chat though.
I believe it''s a criminal offence (but I don't KNOW) probably 'obtaining money by deception'.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Your concern should be for your kids not the ex. As they need a stable enviroment in which to grow up. There is a great danger that the plan will backfire. The mortgage will become unaffordable. Then the disruption and stress while the mess is sorted out will be extremely negative on the kids.0 -
Mortgage fraud on the application form !! not a good start but are the bank/building society going to ask to see the birth certificates ?
Csa and CB paid upto 19 years of age0 -
no why would they0

....... but they will almost certainly reconcile the bank accounts during underwriting !!
My guess - considerably higher than 50:50 that they will spot it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Most likely she will need to show proof of kids ages not so easy to try and add on especially these days, although since you are obviously so concerned for your childrens welfare why dont you give your ex wife the £170 towards the house instead!0
