Hi everyone,
I have to be in Leeds for 10am on Monday and just want to know the best and quickest way to get there and what time to set off (i also need to park etc when i get to leeds with a possible 10 min walk too). I'm from round the Accrington/Burnley area so have the choice of M62 or back roads (Ilkley). Train is out the window for a number of reasons. Any help greatly appreciated

I would allow at least 90mins, the M62 can vary enormously.
Where are you heading in Leeds, I may be able to advise with parking.0 -
M62 - bad every weekday morning and evening going to Leeds. Try going Colne and over the tops, Ilkley-Otley and A660 down past Headingley into the centre. If not the centre then let the offer from DKLS use local knowledge to your destination and possible parking. (Best roads round Leeds all go back to Lancashire). Good luck.0

Really depends on your end destination in Leeds. We need more info.0

Bewley's Inn. Sunday night. £43. Parking was a fiver last time I stayed. Make sure your venue is within walking distance though! The new City Inn under the station is a cracking hotel too
but that's coming out at £76.
(I've had a Monday morning job interview in Leeds where the M62 meant, after a run from the car park, I arrived 1 minute early but drenched in sweat. Needless to say I didn't get the job. Not a city I take risks with anymore).0 -
Bewley's Inn is great, just off the motorway, turn left past Halfords, then right and then right again, this leads you to the car park entrance at the back. Nice car park too.
I like the suggestion of the route by Lancastrian through Colne and down from Headingley, if you followed this route on Google you would get stuck in traffic from either Bradford or Pudsey. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Accrington,+Lancashire,+UK&daddr=53.901475,-1.944435+to:leeds&hl=en&geocode=Ff4zNAMd1-zb_ynHjFkiFZh7SDHSGkeKGa2gKw%3BFaN4NgMdjVTi_ynL60DJ2_F7SDGgUNrRnvkMEw%3BFdfqNAMdvlzo_ymZvWTaSj55SDGp3BMC_bqtUQ&gl=uk&mra=ls&sll=53.67541,-1.95664&sspn=0.405923,1.352692&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=10&via=10 -
