Free Copy of Microsoft Money

Microsoft have discontinued MS Money but have released two final versions which are available to download.

They are US versions, but I found the link on the UK Microsoft Downloads Centre which directed me here so they should work fine with UK bank/credit accounts etc. If you haven't used MS Money before it's a fantastic tool for tracking your accounts, spending and budgeting. You can either do everything manually or link directly over the internet using a Windows Live or Hotmail account to your online accounts to run automatic updates.

I'd be a bit apprehensive about using software that was no longer supported/developed that handled my money etc.

Not quite automatically, you would have to download yourself and import into the prog.
The Microsoft Money Plus Sunset versions provide an alternative version of Money with the following:
No activation requirement. This version can be installed/reinstalled as needed without a requirement to activate
No online services. Discontinued services include online quotes, bill payment, statement downloads initiated by Money, data sync with MSN Money, etc. If your financial institution provides OFX or QIF statement downloads, the Sunset versions will allow you to import those statements into your Money file
