Thanks to OP for this one - bought one today for hubby for Xmas. Sainsburys in Crayford have reopened from refurbishment and they had the offer advertised with a sash type thing around the boxes of 320gb PS3s showing the offer, but I didn't see when it finishes.

it finishes on the 7th October, I went instore today and they only had two left, apparently they have been flying off the shelves.

i went in to my local store to buy one today, yesterday they only had two but today they have over 15, my store was the new big superstore in Hayes (lombardy retail park), if anyone is close by and wants one, thats the place to go.

does anyone know if these new models play the old PS2 games? I know some of the PS3 consoles didn't play the PS2 games. Huge thanks in advance x

Tried like mad to find 1 in my locality the day after the offer was released....... but to my dismay no stores had any near of far,i was even told from the beckton branch that on that Friday there was not even 1 in stock & that there had been no deliveries because the supplier failed to deliver....tried again this weekend most places had none but managed to find 1 in loughton....my 10 yr old was jumping for joy when i finally paid for it,really made his Birthday =D
