Have to post about experience with PC World today.
Back at the end of December 2005 we all put together and paid £100 for my daughters 1gb Q-BE mp3 player (overpriced i know but she wanted the smallest which if youre not sure what they are, they are the ice cube sized ones). Anyway, she had a problem a few months back so we rang up and they suggested to reset which she did and it had been fine.
She got home from college yesterday and said she had to reset 3 times within an hour so i phoned up today (call centre as cant phone direct) and they said take it back to the store and they would sort it out there.
Took it in store tonight, straight up to the counter, man had a word with another man and offered straight away to refund or replace, didnt test it or anything or even get it out the box. She wsa going to have the refund but then spotted an ipod and they replaced it with that, complete with a new receipt and 12 months guarantee.
Great service from somewhere which is usually known for bad service (which i have experienced myself). :T
