My good lady wife and myself are going to Kos for the first time in the first two weeks of October. Reading reviews on Tripadvisor I have discovered that the hotel charges for 6 euros per night for a/c and expects you to pay up front in cash when checking in if you choose to use it.
Can anyone advise me as to whether the night time temperatures will make this a neccessity for getting a good night's sleep and keeping the mozzies at bay? Thanks.

I would say you wouldnt need it in October
it depends on what the temps are gona reach when you are away but I would suspect day time temps to be no higher than about 25/26, it would cool down lots on an evening, maybe a bit chilly if you use the air con

Thanks for the quick reply. I will probably keep my euros in my pocket and put them to better use.0

We went to Kos a couple of years ago, last 2 weeks in October, warm through the day, but cool at night so doubt you will need the air con. Save/spend your Euros on something else.
Take rainwear as we had a couple of real downpours with it being in October weather not always glorious sunshine - didn't spoil holiday at all, but just thought I'd warn you.
