Hi there don't know if anyone could help with the above. I'm trying to find out how I could get back to Leeds from east midlands airport at 10 pm on a Monday night by public transport. this is because the flights I want to book are best out from leeds/bradford (a short taxi ride away) but back to east midlands and wondering if it is feasible. we could drive the car to east midlands and leave it in the car park before we go but seems a lot of hassle. sor far i found a train which left Derby at 11 and arrives in leeds at 6 the next morning with 2 stops so don't think i'm doing very well on my own. many thanks for any suggestions x

http://www.transportdirect.info shows a National Express 240 coach leaving East Midlands Airport at 22:20 and arriving at Leeds Bus Station at 01:00.

If that's a bit tight then the next coach leaves at 02:20 and gets in at 05:08.

Manchester airport is very convenient for trains to Leeds. Doesn't help here but good for future reference.

Access to Leeds Bradford Airport is via a bus service that runs from the bus station (where the National Express coaches go to) and the Train station. There are no direct trains there.

Is hiring a car at East Mids airport and dropping it off in Leeds an option?
