re: ARGOS

Good morning. I purchased, via ARGOS online, a large wardrobe. Not cheap, abouot £500. I`ve been waiting for about 3 months for it to become available to order so I can complete my bedroom suite. I received an email to advise item now in stock and duly purchased. This was at the beginning of Aug. I was advised that I would be contacted by 13th Sept to arrange a delivery time. No problem. Date has come and gone and nothing. Telephoned them to ask what`s going on. Was advised that item not in stock as problem with at suppliers end. I would have to wait another month before even being able to arrange a delivery date. This item has now been reduced by £175!! and is showing as available and delivery available within 28days. Argos have offered full refund. Is there anything stopping me cancelling my order and re-ordering at the sale price? Any thoughts gratefully received. Seems like common sense to me but wondered if Argos have something in their T&C`s to stop this happening.
