It's all turned out okay in the end. As far as the insurer's are concerned, I was insured with them at the time I was pulled over - even though it never showed up on the database. They're sending me an indemnity letter as proof of this, which I need to send to the police.

pleased it turned out ok..
swinton were absolutely torture to deal with when they "forgot" to put my policy on the MID. i was forever getting stopped by police so ended up having to keep a copy of my policy in the car with me. In the end i simply moved insurers when renewal came around.. they lost a lot of custom from my family too.Sealed pot challenger # 10

I don't imagine Swinton are responsible for "putting" your policy on the MID, any more than they were providing the insurance for it.0
