Hi, how about Boots.com? Don't know how they compare to John Lewis' prices though, sorry. I use my advantage card points to "buy" fitflops from there. They have Mukluks and Superboots in stock at the minute
Hth.
Or, if you wait for the Boots' Shopping Evening (first one on 27th/28th October) you can order instore and for £135 you'd get 2540 points. I've just received my Ad Card mailing with extra points coupons - not sure if any of these will work at the same time.0 -
i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble :whistle:0

I think I can answer you this!
Boots points events will give you 1000 additional points for every £50 you spend. So on a £135 spend this gives you 2000.
Then your spending £135 which gives you 540 points anyway. (4 points per £1 spent).
Add these together (oh yes they do!:)) and you get 2540 points (or £25.40 which works out to aprox 18.81% back on your card.0 -

Thanks Jenniewb - that's exactly it.0 -

Thank you for the reminder about the Boots Event. I just ordered some Fitflop Superboots and got 2100 points. I also used Topcashback to get 1% cashback (for existing Boots customers) and paid on my Amex card (0.5-1% cashback). A reward credit card would be a good alternative if you don't have an Amex card.
The Qidco deals are good too as mentioned by others but I went for Boots because of their return policy as I haven't tried Fitflop boots before.0 -
Please be careful about the sizing. I have lived in a pair of Mukluk size 4s (37) for about a year. They got stained unfortunately, so invested before my hols (just returned yesterday) in a new grey pair, same size, more expensive for this season.
Unfortunately, although the boots look the same, something has changed. Sod's law, seemed OK in the shop (I checked sole against sole with old boots to check size was right), but they are actually so much tighter that they have crushed my little toes. Only wore them for my journey, as went to a hot country, but was hobbling around on the holidays hoping particularly my right little toe would get better, but it took a week for the red inflammation to die down. Wore them again just for the journey home, but now both little toes are killing me.
Will contact Fitflop UK today, but don't know if they will help. For a start, I declined to take the box when I bought them in the shop and apparently they won't do returns if you don't have the box. Plus I've worn them. But I think it's very bad that they appear to have made them less roomy. One assumes that the sizing will be the same as before. £135 was a big shellout for me, don't know what I can do besides going back to the stained ones.
I have now heard from Fitflop. As requested I sent pictures of my sore toes and the customer service lady spoke to me in terms of "exceptional circumstances". However, the news is bad news, the shop refuses to give me my money back, saying that it is "my bad judgement" that is the problem. I have to say that when I purchased them they were polite in the shop, but disinterested and neither friendly nor helpful. I am going back to Fitflop now as I believe it is them who are responsible for putting less material in the boot. I recommended the boots to several people last year who then purchased boots, so I believe Fitflop are not behaving correctly to a good customer. The shop may be unhelpful, but it is Fitflop who have changed the dimensions of the boots, which I bought in good faith. Will let you all know how I get on.0 -
To be honest it is not their fault you didn't realise that the boots were smaller than the ones you had last year. Even if you didn't try them on in the shop surely when you put them on at home you should have realised, and not worn them to go on holiday. Companies change designs slightly all the time, they cannot be held responsible for (and be expected to recompense) customers who cannot judge if something does not fit them properly.0

I can see that legally they are not obligated to recompense me. But it goes deeper than that. Like a lot of people I was delighted to find a brand that took comfort very seriously and did not produce an agonising fashion boot. When I spoke to Fitflop central before i purchased the boots they assured me that as well as the "superior material", the only change was a couple of small cosmetic details in the design. I thought I had found a boot I could live in for the rest of my life, probably buying a new pair every year or two. So this is gutting for me and I believe they have gone against their ethos. There are probably others affected in the same way. Of course I tried them in the shop. How many hours do you wear shoes in the house before venturing out in them for the first time?
The person who suggested Ebay, thank you, yes that is what I'd decided to do if necessary.0 -
Having wanted a pair for ages....
I have just purchased leather short fitflop superboot for £83.99 (incl delivery) - also 6% cashback using quidco.
Tall ones start at £74.99!
