Days Inn Hotel at Stansted

Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me if this Hotel is nice and is it easy to get to Stansted Airport. Many thanks.

I saw a guy walk in to Stansted airport with his child, drop a pop-up tent on the floor, blow up a poundland type li-lo, set an alarm clock and they climbed inside. That would be a cheaper bet I think.

(I was tempted to put a '2 Extra pints of milk' sign outside).

PS. It also had a chimney.

Never stayed there but it is only 5 mins drive from the airport.

Dunno, but the travelodge nearby is pretty good, I have stayed there. About 10 minutes to get to the airport perimeter! Then an hour trying to navigate all the roads inside the airport

My mum stayed there last year before travelling into central london. She said it was fine and it cost about £10 in a taxi from the airport.

Days Inn at Stansted is on the site of the Welcome Break Service Area.
I believe it has been recently refurbished and think there is a bus that runs
from the site to the airport for small charge. May be worth a call to investigate.
