Cancel claim and lose ncb

Hi
What about if I had a claim (I hit a barrier) but after 4-5 weeks I've cancel it because the insurance company can't get parts. They cancel claim, they didn't repair my car, and took my 2 years NCB. There is possible to get back my NCB?
Sorry for any mistakes but my english is not very good
Thanks

Definitely follow upon this - if they have cancelled your claim, are you happy with this? If not, appeal and escalate this.
If you are happy to "accept" this situation, then ask them to reinstate your NCD, and escalate this if they refuse.0 -

You have cancelled your part of the claim, but you said you hit a barrier. Check with your insurance company that there hasn't been a claim to fix the barrier, and if not they should reinstate your ncd proof.

The Highways Agency or local authority will reclaim costs incurred in replacing damaged barriers following an accident.
Any recovery costs relating to your car will also be claimed.0 -
I don't think so they pay any claim because they don't know where it happened. Tommorow I go to citizens advice and I ask him Can they help me.0
