Speed of turning files into PDF

I turn a lot of graphics files into PDF to send out to be printed. I use "Print" and then choose "Adobe PDF" as the printer so that I get the options I need.

Recently the files seem to be taking much longer to process into PDF. Would it help to speed things up if I reinstall Acrobat, or is my computer (over 4 years old) just slowing down?

Either or both its probably all the junk files on the machine . Run something like CCleaner on a weekly basis . Defrag on a monthly basis wont hurt neither will running a disc scan . Both found via right click drive and properties Tools .
Worth removing Adobe Acrobat but check first on the Adobe site to see if their are any updates to it . Free updates that is as opposed to paid upgrades .


It is not normally the hardware slowing down but accumulated junk spread all over the place that is the problem . Often a clean start and fresh install of windows wiping all data breathes new life into an old machine . Likewise a clean out of any accumulated dust from the interior and fans .
