    I thought so as I said in my post above. Its the budget version still I think there good monitors I am using it right now in vga mode as I have 2 pcs conencted to monitor one dvi to pc (gaming, office) and another vga to pc (server internet mainly)

    Incidentally most 19" monitors at that res some even lower. It also has an aspect ratio of 16.10 not 16.9 the most common widescreen format for tvs, but it seems common for pc monitors that are widescreen. If you play a video with 16.9 aspect ratio you will get a slight border top and bottom about 1 cm, but its fine
