Help needed to clean laptop and transfer programmes from pc

I have an old laptop which is a Packard Bell and what I would like to do is to know if it is possible to clear and clean the laptop but then I want to run programmes from my pc on the laptop. Is this possible? Any help would be much appreciated.

    or reinstall windows.

most applications require the installation disks.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?
  • Thanks for that but I dont think I explained myself very well, Im not a very techie person. Once Ive wiped my old (slow) laptop clean there are only certain programmes I wish to transfer from my pc to the laptop not all of them. Any ideas?
  • Once you've wiped the laptop clean you'll have to install the programs from CD or download file.

Alternatively, just remove the programs you don't want to keep on there via Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs.
