Motor Insurance and Diabetes......

Have recently been getting quotes for car and motorbike insurance and would advise anyone with type 2 Diabetes, controlled by tablets, to make sure they read the small print closely, before going ahead with any quotes from the likes of gocompare or moneysupermarket.

Had a good quote from Bennets for a motorcycle but just happened to notice that under medical conditions "none" was listed despite me stating upon the application that i had diabetes.....when i manually added diabetes controlled by tablets the premium increased roughly 50%.

For anyone with Diabetes, Tesco [Car] and Equity Red Star via Rampdale [bike] do not increase their premiums for those with the condition.

You do generally need to be very careful when search engines pass details to other companies.

We told one search engine that we had access to other vehicles.
It passes this on to some companies as access to other cars which was not correct.

I think there are some errors in translation sometimes, so you need to be very careful to check.
It's your responsibility that these are correct (even if it's the search engines mistakes).
