Hello, I have seen this plant appear and grow to 5ft in about a month and with smaller plants of the same type surrounding it. I know it's not a weed and I think my mum had something similar so I'm summising it should flower low to the ground if at all?
I cannot figure out putting a picture on here so I shall describe it. Each leaf has 5 leaves if that makes sense and they are rather large. Probably not a lot of help admittedly but I would be grateful if anyone has suggestions so I could look them up and see if they are right.
Many thanks, Ian.

Think it's some sort of mallow - probably a weed0

Looks a little like hollyhocks but not hairy enough or mildewy enough! Will go with poster above ^ as a form of mallow. Maybe a neighbours has self seeded in your garden. Is in lovely condition - would leave to see what you get. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
