Hey iv just made a transfer to my freinds account he is with halifax i sent 300pounds but it said my transaction has been delayed how long will it take for them to process the transaction?

Did you authorise the new recipient either by text or phone?

If not log back in and telephone the internet banking helpdesk who will get it authorised after you go through the security check.

Yes i confirmed the recipient by phone when i login to my internet banking i see a message at the top saying.

You have a payment request outstanding. Please view this to see the current status.

These transactions are under review. Please check them again after 53 hours.

IMO they require you to contact them - its part of the security when setting up a new beneficiary in your bill payments.

They will try and call you but you can call them they re 24hrs and will go through some security questions (please note this sec will be diff to PhoneBank questions). Once this is done they will approve the payment their end allowing you to go back online and complete the transacton your end. Very simple and should take you only a few minutes.

thx 1 more question do Lloyds ask for passcode or a security number to log in to phone banking?

They will ask security questions to ID you - they might ask for say 3 numbers/letters of your password but they will never ask for all of it.
