I do have a modem router but thought I might like an "N" one (don't have good signal in other parts of the house)and wondered what this would be like. Have read a review and its' just "ok",0

Ok if you're going N you do know you computer/laptop need and n capable wireless adapter otherwise its wasted.0

I don't think you should read too much into just "ok". I have a very similar Edimax (a slightly older model) which I've had for several months now and it works just as it should - unlike the previous cheap ones which would drop the link every few days. Wireless reception is good enough to be used at the end of the garden, so if I were to review mine I would describe it as "ok".0 -
Yes I agree, "ok" can mean anything, depends what it is up against. Just wondered if anyone had any opinions on this particular router. Coz it is cheap, but cheap is not necessarily better.lol0

Can it operate at both the 5Mhz and 2.4Mhz wireless N modes? can it do so simultaneously?
as an added bonus can it combine adjacent wireless N channels for delivering full wireless N speeds*?
*although apparently this is illegal in the UK if you are not the british military....
EDIT: Basic point is not all wireless N routers are equal, further reading on features some may or may not have here:

you can check what any particular router or card is certified to do here:

...that is if its actually been certified by the vendor
