CCTV Cars in Westminster - Fighting Back

A lot of people are getting fed up with these cars hiding whilst trying to catch out motorists getting confused by badly sign posted and laid out junctions.

A lot of us also object to being on snooped on all the time by local authorities just trying to plug holes in their budgets.

So now some of us are fighting back :

If you see a car parked on double yellows whilst filming via CCTV start filming them right back and send in a complaint to the local council.

Yellow lines and parking restrictions on the highway are supposed to be there for aiding the flow of traffic, but if it's OK for them to park there why the need for the restriction in the first place?

We are just generally up for being a complete pain to Westminster now so we'll be back up there twice on Wednesdays and every Saturday. We've even made it into Time Out as a tourist attraction for the Wednesday evening demos, the visitors seem to love 100 bikes riding around Trafalger Square until it gets totally jammed up and they cheer us on.

If the video has turned up on Pepipoo it might explain how one of them is nearly on 2.5k views already as well.

I could understand, well sort of, Westminster etc charging for motorcycles if they were causing a. obstruction etc but this is purely a moneymaking exercise. Nice to see the 2 wheelers are getting some of their own back and helping some of the 4 wheelers at the same time.

I've just been informaed that Watchdog should be doing something about this in tomorrows show and might be using clips from the video as well.

There are a number of people getting annoyed about how these cars are operated and people are starting to fight back, but I think Westminster have some of the worse CEOs working for them. I would like to see how the whole things started rather than just the clip after it had all kicked off. But the Range Rover should have got a ticket for parking so far from the kerb anyways.

And if some idiot with a Napolean complex decides to start abusing and then assaulting anyone (even a traffic warden) he deserves to get nicked. (I wonder if he has a stool to help him get into that big car?).
