Car insurance - that will let me use no claims from car no. 1 on car no. 2

I've got a second car and want to insure it.
The insurers I've spoken to won't let me use my 14 years no-claims on the second car but I've heard some do.
Has anyone got any recommendations please of any insurer that would let me do this?
Thanks in advance,
David

There are some insurers that will replicate your NCD across to another vehicle but they all have rules around the process. Many of them require you to insure both vehicles with them, others limit the size of the vehicle and state the 2nd vehicle must have a female policyholder etc
I believe the RBS stable of insurers have such an offer (ie Privilege, Direct Line etc) with the conditions of female main driver, insured and partner or insured only (ie no named drivers other than partners), no claims in 3 years, limit to the number of points on the licences.... there may be other conditions but a quick call to any of them should tell you.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
