I want to open my first Debit or Credit account, im only 18 and still in college so can't afford the £1000 pay in that most banks ask for however i need a overdraft.

Im hoping for a interest free overdraft (Might be asking a little to much there) or a low interest one and wondered if anyone could give me a little help in which banks are the best for them.

Try for one of the student accounts if you're still at college. Otherwise, you might find it difficult to get an overdraft if you've never had a bank account before, and no credit history.
