Self employment ended, any benefits?

Hi all, I was a self employed taxi driver for the last 4 years but stopped last Friday. Basically I couldn't afford to go to work any more.
After an accident, my car insurance went from £900 to £2700 a year. With fuel costing £100 plus per week and £90 per week for the hire of the taxi radio, plus council licensing and any car repairs, I'd need to earn over £13500 a year before I made a penny myself.
Are there any benefits I can claim as I now have no other income?

Have you ceased tradingn and notified HMRC? If so, JSA is the first thing that comes to mind.0
