help with charges

Options
I'm putting it on here hoping someone can help, last time i put the question on armynet they actually contacted my regiment and i was hauled in and given a dressing down.

ok, yet again boarding school allowance not paid, jpa said next run will be 7 october, this means again allowance to school late and therefore 10% late charges applied to next term and we bear the costs.
also travel to and from airport we have been told we are entitled to claim that for our daughter but when we enquire we were told tuff.

since our posting last year we havent had our 25% ciloct discount so a year of that is owed, every time we put in the forms they discard them.

anyone help?

wife put in a complaint to our CO and i was threatened with being charged because of it.

  • I would suggest that you:

Ask for a meeting with your RAO.
Get your wife to speak to the local AFF Rep.
Speak to your unit welfare officer

One of them should be able to help.

I am a little confused. Ciloct is a charge in lue of council tax, if the two of you are living in the quater then you will pay 100% Ciloct....I was not aware that they could discount this.

The CEA window always opens in plenty time on JPA and the deadlines are always shown on the JPA portal. If you are missing these key dates, and incurring late charges, then that is your own fault.

I'd be pulling them out unless they reversed that charge. Why was it paid so late? I'm sorry but I have to agree that if you didn't put it in on time then it was your own fault.
As regards to the RAO, redress them. If anyone threatens to charge you because of what your wife may say, redress them. They'll soon get the hint that its easier just to deal with you than ignore you.
Saying that, it just sums up the Army Admin corp and Glasgow - but we all knew that already.
