Ooooooh, this is a BIG love-in!!!
Yep, well done SS. Especially for hanging in there all year. I've noticed more and more regulars disappearing and know only too well how hard it is to stay motivated when you're in it for the long haul.
I'm hoping to not be too far behind your debt free date so will be chasing your tail (......no!... not like that! - Isn't amazing how the oo err missus switch clicks on in your brain when posting in an SS thread - gotta mind those double entendres).
Interesting fact scouse fans: with 10,383 posts over a year that means that SS has [STRIKE]prattled on[/STRIKE] enlightened us at a rate of 865.25 posts PER MONTH, or if you prefer.... 199.67 posts PER WEEK. Now some people don't achieve that is their whole MSE lifespan!!
Seriously, though..... well done. Keep it up and keep us all laughing.

SS, your determination to eliminate your debt (9 grand in 1 year!!:T ) is an inspiration- it's great how this site has helped you, but you also give back loads of support and advice to others, and are one of the people who make this site really special. You sound like a really nice guy!0

Hello wrote:Well done SS! An inspiration.
Although I got the spud/plum situation I missed the car mat one, being a relative newbie (food connection going on there). Can anyone point me to a link to spare me reading the whole 12 months of SS debt diary all in one night?!
Yes! Can I second that request - or should I wait until the car mats make it into Martin's new book?!Overpay!0 -
Well done. You are such an inspiration to me. I always read your posts and you make me laugh(in a nice way-it comes over snotty didn't mean to). I've learn' SO much from you(the value of car mats springs to mind). Many thanks. Please keep up the good work. Oh yeah CONGRATULATIONS.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.
