Emergency, need to take cash from Credit Card

I need to hand over £280 cash this evening for the reservation on a property. (i'll damn well be getting a receipt  ).
I had planned on using my credit card but the estate agent says they'll only take cash. I have an HSBC Gold Visa Card, does anyone know how much this will end up costing me?
I plan to take the cash out, but it'll be on the top of an already existing balance so i suppose that whatever high interest rate it is charged at will stay there for a long while.
Also does anyone know how much the cash machine will charge to do it?
(It just so happens that there is cash sitting in our house account but i dont know the pin number for the card, so will be trawling through my paperwork when i get home, if i cant find it then the Credit Card is the only option.)

Can you not take your other card in to the branch and see if you can take cash out over counter?
How much it costs you depends on what your balance is and how long it will take to pay off.0 -

Sadly not, by the time i can get to a branch they'll be closed. Also the house account is with Natwest and i'd have to slot the card into a reader and enter the pin just to get the money over the counter.0 -

Cash a cheque? You shouldn't need a card to cash a cheque at your own branch. (But I would take extra ID, though this shouldn't be necessary.)0
