Faulty trainers

Hi,
I have purchased a pair of trainers from a shop which I have had for about 4/5 months which I believe are faulty as They have developed a blistering to the toes which is causing the coating to flake off leaving bald patches. It is like flakey paint. I have never known trainers to do this. I brought a pair from the same company at the beginging of the year different make which did exactly the same thing but I thought it was maybe me that had caused it. Yet this pair has done exactly the same. And advice please

Comments

  • First pair were reebok now Nike but looking at others in the store they show signs of the same problem which makes me wonder are these substandard shoes ??
  • I originally thought that but if you look at other new pairs of the same trainers instore you can see very light blistering which intime will devolpe into the same problem in which I have now. Exspecially near punched holes in the manufacture you can see the fault in a very early stage.
  • I have had no end of reebok trainers over the years and have never come across this problem.

  • They say I can take them back instore and get the manager to look at them providing I can produce a receipt as I purchased them cash which I currently cannot find as Why Would I keep a receipt also Wanted to know Is 4/5 Months too long to consider taking back ?

4/5 months is a long time. Best of luck getting something back.

Buy from a different store in future? Could be something to do with how the company stores them.

wear thicker socks and put talcum powder on your feet/toes before wearing them.
