I was actually born here ENGLISH and have seen this country go down the pan with unlimited immigration which has led to no National pride or any sort of patriotism.
The cardinals was right this is a third world bloody country

I blame the parents of the locally born inhabitants as I know off immigrants who have more National pride and Patriotism then they do, my Mother was one of them.

The Cardinal is an old German with Nazi tendencies, I'd just ignore the silly old fools comments.

    Back on topic.....

I would have loved to have been able to volunteer but with the boys and not knowing how they would be coping then or if their needs will be less or more, I really can't volunteer that far ahead (I can't even plan a week ahead, let alone 2 years!).

I love the Olympics, winter and summer...I'm hoping I can get to see at least one event live instead of trying to get telly time to watch it.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Me too. The Mountain Biking at Hadleigh in Essex might be closest for you Sue, or white water canoeing at Waltham Cross (event in Herts, parking in Essex AIUI!). I want to get to one athletics day if I can, watch the marathon from the course, get to the rowing and also football at Wembley.

I wouldn't be able to take enough time out to volunteer, but DH has put his name down.
