Train seating help please

We are travelling from Birmingham International to Aberystwyth. Can anyone tell me where I can find a train seating plan as we have seats 51, 52 and 54 all A and I wondered if there was any chance we were all sat together!

Thank you.

I would guess you were sitting together with those seat numbers being 51, 52 and 54

Most likely to be a table

Just found this - not sure if it covers the train type you'd be using but in case it does try this
  • from memory that service will be operated by an arriva trains wales class 158/8 and the mentioned seats are most likely airline style 2 each side of aisle, this is assuming the train is formed as is booked depending on fleet availability on the day.

so long as the train is not busy and seats are not reserved then you could have one of the tables with 4 seats, but this does depend on the train being fairly quiet.
  • I imagine, the further you get away from Birmingham, the less people that will be on it, so good chance you could move to a table.

I also seem to think that first class have electrical sockets fitted, so if you take a laptop, dvd player. You can ask the guard if you can charge it in the section, and return to normal class. Most dont have a problem, and most have said to simply sit in first class to use it. But i guess it depends on how many people are in your group, and how busy the train is.
