Question about TC exemption card

Just wondering about the Tax Credit Exemption Certificate/Card thingy with regards to dental treatment.
Is there a cut off for how much it pays for? Or is it for any kind of treatment needed?
Like if someone needed fillings, root canal, tooth extraction etc...i know how pricey these kind of treatments can be so does it pay a % of the cost or for all treatments?
Thanks for any advice!

For more info look at hmrc.gov.uk/leaflets/wtc6.pdf, (just put it in a search engine and it should provide the web link with the www bit) and confirm with the dentist that the treatment is covered under NHS treatment.0

You only get it if your income from employment is under £15k.0

Thanks for that but it doesn't specify what treatments it covers. The leaflet only says 'free dental treatment'.:coffee:0 -

It usually covers NHS treatment in full, so confirm with the dentist the work being done is covered under NHS guidelines for acceptable treatment. The actual maximum income amount is £15276 along with a number of other conditions.0 -
Hi yes i know that, i am asking/researching for somebody who does not have internet access so was looking for somebody's personal experiences of using the card really.
OK...sorry. This'll be more helpful.:D
I had root canal done on mine at the private surgery I'm registered at as an NHS patient. At the local walk in center I used prior to my current dentist, I had fillings and an extraction done and no charge - just produced the card.0 -
Thanks for help everyone!
I guess the best option is asking before having any treatment lol
