copy and paste

hello

I have a hotmail account, for some reason when I want to include a web address that I have copied and then to paste it within my message it never allows me to do this. I end up having to physically type it in.

Is this the norm? If not can someone advise me how to do it.

Thanks

Michaela

    Hi Michaela
I think this is the answer.
In Hotmail Help it says you need to have Rich Text Editor turned on.
Also you must use Internet Explorer.
Then you can use the 'Insert URL' function on the rich-text formatting toolbar.
This is what it says exactly:-

Make the messages you send more colorful and fun with the Rich-Text Editor
If your web browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later, you can use rich-text formatting in your messages. You can change the font style, color, and size, or choose a background color for your messages. From the rich-text formatting toolbar, you can also add emoticons (symbols that represent emotions) to your e-mail messages.

    1. Click the Mail tab.
    2. Click New to compose a new message.
    3. Click Tools, and then click Rich-Text Editor ON. (If the menu says Rich-Text Editor OFF, the Rich-Text Editor is already on.) When the Rich-Text Editor is on, a toolbar appears above the text area.

    Note

The Rich Text Editor is only available in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later.
