On jsa now back to work ??

Hi there guys first time on this forum just after some advice i cant seem to see the answer for. I have been on Jsa c based since end of july and i have now been offered employment :j which is due to start on Monday. my last sign on is Thursday this week so ill be paid as normal Tuesday, my question is, is jsa paid in arrears so will i get another payment or not?? just working out my financials for next month as I wont be paid until the end of October for my new jobs. Also 1 last question does dwp give me a p45 or do i use the old one from job before claiming jsa.

Hi,

You'll get a P45, it takes about a week or so, but I don't know whether you'll get another payment or not

You'll need to hand your signing on booklet back on Monday. You'll then be paid for the few days since your last signing and get your p45 sent to you too. (it tells you what to do in the JSA green booklet in your little folder thing )

Ahh brilliant thankyou never had to do any of this before so was a little unsure.
