Kids will love it..it's only a day in Amsterdam, where you can have a free bus tour, or do your own thing, and then bus picks you up at 4pm to take you back to the ferry. This is just about right for kids...you don't want them seeing the 'people of the night' :rotfl:impatient1 wrote: »OOOH! I'm getting excited now! I booked mine for 10th October, Just told the kids and they're dancing around the room :j Is the mini cruise good then??
Follow the tips about money saving..the ferry can be expensive so take a packed lunch, otherwise pre-book meals, its cheaper. We always get the buffet breakfast, fills you up for most of the day and try and snaffle some more sandwiches in your bag :rotfl:
Any more info, just p.m. me. Kids will have a fun day, the canals are lovely, just stay out of certain areas or there will be questions to answer!
Ferry has a casino (well, casino table) show bar and a disco. Rooms are 4 singles (two are bunks) Sometimes you get the same ferry back and you can leave your stuff on it, but once we had a different ferry back, so bear that in mind, you may have to carry your stuff round all day....
Have a good trip, and thanks again Seaangel xBack on it!0 -
well my wife has just won one of these and whilst we started to getting excited about going we are concerned that we may not be able to get the time off work before christmas to do the cruise. We haven't booked a date yet but as it states that the prize is non transferrable does that mean we cant book the cruise for someone else?
if not i guess we'll just have to go for it all guns blazing (quite a car journey from swansea to newcastle like but i guess at least it would force me to go up and visit my family!)0
