Some of my Spring flowers do that every year. They never actually bloom until the right time next year.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

They're definately spring crocus bulbs, I planted them last autumn and they flowered last March/April. My daffodils were planted at the same time, came through but didn't flower. The wonders of nature!0
