Stove Burner
Hope i've posted in the right forum, please redirect me if so...:o
We have just bought a property and had to have all our heating and pipes re-done just 2 months after moving in as the people we bought off left it in a right state...:( (long story, please see other thread if interested;))
Anyhu, there was a back boiler attached to the fire and now that we have a combi-boiler we decided that the ugly fireplace that was in there, we no longer want or need. I REALLY want a stove burner but have heard you need to have your chimney lined or something due to the smoke and fumes???
Could somebody tell me what needs to be done and what cost I might be looking at?

My chimney got lined 1930 semi, along with multi burner and installation it came to just over 2k without any fancy surround too just slate and white walls (rendered)0
