henry (hoover) expert - just ordered new vacuum

bought this model of henry vacuum paid £115.49

just received it and the actual hose length is 10m - it says cable range should be 26.8m ? (hope thats not a con to say you can use with an extension lead)

also the actual badge on the machine says the following: HVX200A weight 8.85kg.


the website I bought from says weight 6.6kg

can anyone help on whether I have the correct model?

its not very helpful the terminology on the site is wrong, ie weight and cable length is misleading to say the least.

just seen another site where it sayd cable range 26.8m and also cable length 10m so I see that as a con really, but im fine with it as long as the correct model has been received

The cable is about 30 ft, (10M) that website is wrong, as they often are. But WHY did you pay £115 when you can get it for £85.......or even less on Homebase 10% day.?

your 26 metres is the diameter it can do ..
if you had it plugged into the centre of a circle ..that would be the total diameter of the circle including hoses and pipes.

your extra kg's could be its boxed weight

The above website has an online manual pdf link.Compare your henry to that.The website does say cable length which is misleading though.It should say cleaning diameter

The only difference between the one the op has bought and the one you have linked to is the end attachement it has a turbo air driven head which can be usually picked up cheaply on ebay.

Because the £85 jobbies use cheaper motors than the slightly more expensive ones.
