I am trying to connect a Netgear wgps606 print server to my BT infinity hub. A am following the instructions, which tells me to connect the P/server to the computer, in order to do this I have to disconnect the hub from the computer, as there is only one Ethernet port on the PC. I am getting a message that it cannot detect a radio signal. It is only a few inches away from the hub. Can you tell me where I am going wrong?
Thanks,
Sham

Hi, If i remember correctly you connect these print servers via USB and run a little setup program to configure the device. You'll need to enter the IP address of your router, it should ask for an IP address so theres probably an option that says "use DHCP"
If you dont have a usb connection. by default I think those print servers use an ip address 192.168.0.102.
Heres a link to the reference manual (its a pdf file btw)
http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1978
If your using windows, its quite easy to edit your lan connection to set a static ip to connect to this default IP, use something like 192.168.0.2 with a mask of 255.255.255.0 and set the gateway to 192.168.0.1, open a browser and enter the default IP in and you should with any luck get to the setup screen
Once your in here you can enter the SSID of your router and any other settings.
Hope this helped some0
