Renault Master Van - Alarm Keeps Going Off??

Hello
OH has a Renault Master van, about 5 or 6 years old.
The alarm keeps going off. Anywhere from 5 minutes to over 3 hours after it's been locked.
Our nearest main dealer is miles away and I just wondered if anyone here knows some simple checks that he could do himself first. Apparently, the alarm can't be disconnected so we've had to leave it unlocked.
He's cleaned the contacts on the sliding side door, but apart from that we don't know where to start.
Had this problem about 6 months ago and it turned out something that was hanging in the load space was pushing on the internal light switch, but it's not that this time.
Any ideas?

Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

If the van is 3+ years old and has a battery back up siren, then the rechargeable battery cells can fail, the alarm thinks that there is a voltage drop and the alarm is activated. The man without a signature.0

In addition to whats been suggested already:
As you've already found out anything moving about inside will set it off, so worth double checking round the van that there isn't anything liable to move of its own accord.
Also sometimes the sensors can be set too sensitive, so a sudden gust of wind (maybe from passing trafic) can set it off. I don't know how you turn them down but i expect its fairly simple - you could either ask your garage or on a renualt forum.0
