Too good to be true?

Said was posted yesterday morning SPECIAL DELIVERY.
Postman arrived and left without a Parcel for me.

Paid with paypal so protected.

He did not put a tracking number on the order which made me think something is wrong.

ALL 19 sold in 6 hours.

ANYONE RECIEVED THERE ITEM?????
Might be delivered Wednesday........!!!

Not sure to put a claim in already.

I emailed the guy and he emailed back saying it is the product for sale.
Thats is why I though worth a punt.

I asked if its a chance to win an item or not.
he said an item so I bought it.

Easy to tell if a copy so will get money back either way.

I think Payapl have stopped the payment his side until he gets feedback from the buyers anyway.

I went into my Paypal and had a checkbox asking if I have recieved the item or not.

As they normally go for over £200 what did you expect? A 0 FB seller selling a high price item at a ridiculous low price. Join the dots.

So, do we suspect a Chinese import?

That way seller can prove delivery and if he is a really good con man persuade paypal to release his funds as he can prove delivery, and then he disappears with the money. Obviously that doesn't mean the buyers lose out as they have a full guarantee, but it means a con merchant gets away with it.

Alternatively if nothing ever gets delivered the con man can't win this as he'll never get his funds released.

Although of course getting a fake phone is going to get complicated for the 19 naive buyers who then have to prove it is a fake within the time scale prescribed by paypal before they can get a refund.

Hopefulyl it just won't arrive as that will be simpler for the buyers.
