DH was pleased yesterday when a LA used came back regarding a property.
LA called a month ago to say friend of tenant had dropped off the keys as she had married and exited the country as new hubby in military. No notice period given.
Tenant was HB but council paid up until she left and we chased down a guarantor for rest of months rent.
Keys for back door disappeared so new locks were required, half painted hall and bedrooms needed to be redone and half carpet was destroyed even though less than year old.
DH had written it off as felt little chance of guarantor stumping up anything but amazingly when supplied with pre and post photos plus invoices for work the guarantor stumped up the money.
Its nice when it works.
