Is the Virgin / MBNA decision process the same?

In other words, if I am rejected for an MBNA-branded card, will I automatically be rejected for Virgin? Looking for an SBT card.

Possibly, they offer different scoring models for each of their products, so it really is 50/50 on if you will get accepted for the other.

Best thing to do is ring them rather than wasting another credit search.

They wouldn't be able to tell you from ringing them, it all depends on your credit worthiness and personal circumstances at time of application.

Virgin are part of the MBNA network. By calling them and explaining
they already been declined the advisor may be able to give an indication whether it is worth applying for another MBNA product.

Well no as they use different scoring processes for each of their products so a general advisor down the phone isn't going to know that question!
