Changing Tariff

I've just arranged an appointment with Scottish Hydro to get the meter changed to an Economy 10 meter but was just wondering what kind of saving I could make.
We only get a yearly statement from Hydro as we're on a key meter and even then it's usually estimated.
During the winter we generally put close on to £50 a week in the machine.
Our entire place is electric, nothing else and although we have electric heaters everywhere that can be timed they're not storage heaters.
I just hope I'm doing the right thing by changing but surely it can't get worse than £50 a week for a standard rate?
Could anyone list the standard rate tariffs for me compared to the E10 tariffs?
I've tried to look online but I only find comparison websites not actual current tariff prices.
Cheers

You will be paying a higher rate for all your non-E10 period consumption, Without storage heaters this may well be more expensive than a non-E10 tariff. You might well be better off on a credit meter but with the cheapest online tariff.
The comp sites will give perfectly accurate info as long as you use your annual consumption figures. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
You really should have checked the benefit of switching before ordering the work.
You would need the details you have now requested in order to make that calculation.
Contact the supplier for details of their E10 tariff
Yes it can get worse than £50 a week. What if, for example, it turns out it will cost you £100 a week???
Also be aware that if E10 is fitted, it may significantly restrict your available options later (unless you are prepared to pay to have the installation revised again)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... The info I've managed to find on the hydro website must be wrong.
On E10 the service charge per day incl vat is 21.83 on Standard it's 17.05. OK so there's an increase of 4.78 per day, I expected that.
However on E10 the standard unit rate is showing as 12.05 incl vat but on the standard tariff it says the unit price incl vat is 12.24 - that's more than the standard E10?!?!
I'm obviously looking in the wrong place because I know the standard unit price on E10 is supposed to be more than on the standard tariff.
Anyone clear this up for me?
I understand what you are saying with reference to me not having storage heaters, however our electric heaters are timed and the times we need them on work out perfectly with the E10 times.
My daughters are up for college at 6am so heating needs to be on from 5am till 7am. At night they're in bed for 9pmish so 8.30 - 10pm is great for the heating.
I'm home all day so all washing etc can be done on the afternoon tariff or quite easily after 8pm or before 7.30am.0
