Is my agent pulling a fast one?

Options
Hi all. My house has been on the market since feb with a top national agent. Had lots of viewers in the following months then nothing after the end of july. At the beginning of september i told them we would take the house off the market soon as we have got fed up with with the whole process and the problems we have had with the agent. Now we are on the the third viewer this week and another on Saturday! Call me cynical but i smell a rat! Had one stupid offer this week, the first since the house whet on the market.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Housing market can be very quiet in the summer and its normal for it to pick up in september.
If your not happy with your agent just swap agents.
    Pawpurrs x ;)
  • Agents are bound to direct buyers towards houses which they think will sell easily so I guess after yours had been on for a while with no takers, it just slipped to the back of their mind - the card may still be in the window but it's up to the agent to often bring it to buyer's attention. After you threaten to pull out, it obviously motivates them & they start pushing it again, probably to unsuitable buyers in all honesty. Might not do any harm to change agents - fresh blood & all!
